Products description
Only three wines from the 2017 vintage Maximilian Greiner sent us to the debut. It's a real debut: These are the first wines from the founding year of the winery.
A Saignée Rosé is already sold out, three Pinot Noir and one champagne from 2017 are coming in autumn to sale.
All wines are completely fermented, have less than one gram of sugar. The wines are quiet, unruffled, but no flatterers.
Wine Review:
* 2017 Chasselas dry - 86
The Chasselas, as Greiner calls the leading variety of the Markgräflerland, the Gutedel, shows fruit and nut in a haunting bouquet. He has a slight spontaneous tone, subtle lactic notes, a lot of enamel, a good structure and salty length.
* 2017 Chardonnay dry - 85
The Chardonnay shows ripe fruit in the bouquet, a firm acidity gives the wine hold and aging potential. Speaks for it also the salty length. Good approach!
* 2017 Pinot Blanc dry - 84
The Pinot Blanc has an expressive aroma, in the mouth it is strong, has clearer lactic notes, a slight bitter note, is overall precise and slim with good texture.
