Tasting: Markgräflerland; 04.09.2019 tasted by: Ulrich Sautter

2017 Chardonnay Badischer Landwein - 93 points - magnificent
Fresh, juicy corn kernels, subtle wood, some almonds, salty on the palate, full-bodied and dense, elegant acidity, mineral-dominated palate, full of tension and long. And it seems quite calm.

2017 Pinot Blanc Badischer Landwein - 92 points - excellent
Very discreet in the fragrance, a little hay, spring meadow, straw flowers, a very discreet variety, silky textured with fine acidity, balanced in a very natural and unforced way, stylish wine.

2017 Chasselas dry Badischer Landwein - 92 points - excellent
Locked, slightly smoky underlying fragrance, light balsamic notes. Lots of juiciness on the palate, a delicate layer of farinaceous phenols, mild acidity, on texture built wine, subtle and tasty.
